Stream G.L.O.S.S.'s Hardcore Masterpiece, 'Trans Day Of Revenge'
For those only vaguely familiar with Olympia, Wash. power house punks G.L.O.S.S. (Girls Living Outside Society's Shit), your introduction probably arrived in controversy. In October of last year, shoegaze group Whirr were dropped by their label Run for Cover Records after a slew of transphobic tweets directed at the band, whose frontwoman is trans. Their music is much better and much more important that that one insular moment, and we're happy to share with you their latest EP, Trans Day of Revenge.
The release is a short, unrelenting one. Each song tells a story of violent and political strife and reminds us all that sometimes getting angry is the first step in getting better. Listen above or purchase for any price you like at Bandcamp.
