Chairlift Explains How Their Album Title Went From 'Peach' to 'Moth'

A couple weeks ago, the Brooklyn duo Chairlift dropped Moth, the long-awaited, self-produced follow-up to 2012's Something. Caroline Polachek originally wanted to call it Peach, but Patrick Wimberly disagreed and they ended up with Moth.

But why? "Moths are things that are relentless and sort of poetic romantics," Polachek tells FM. "They fly towards something beautiful at all costs."
