Michael Brun Talks 'Wherever I Go' and His Love of Collaboration: Interview

Michael Brun made something truly special in January with "Wherever I Go," an intensely collaborative electronic jam created with the students at The Audio Institute in his native Haiti. The 23-year-old DJ tells FM that the track, featuring Haitian singers J. Perry and BelO, is "the first song that I can say has authentic, fully recorded Haitian sounds in my own production."

Watch above as Brun--who has remixed artists like Calvin Harris, Brandon Flowers, Tiesto and Alicia Keys--recounts the inspiring process. Below, see the Kid Coconut label founder tell FM about his favorite aspects of collaboration. "No matter what level it is, you're gonna get something from that," he says.
