AWOLNATION Dish on What It's Like Touring With Fall Out Boy

At their start, AWOLNATION were a bit hard to define—they're hard rock, electronic, pop and dance all in one. So when it came to booking shows, they often had to market themselves, instead of being another artist's RIYL. But headlining their own gigs wasn't always profitable, frontman Aaron Bruno tells FM during a stop by our offices. Now, the band is on tour with Fall Out Boy, and they're starting to find their place.

"Sometimes we'd go to one city where it was happening and we'd play to a packed room of 500 people, and then we'd move to the next city where there'd be four people," Bruno said, recalling their past. "It was very humbling."
