Philly Punks Sheer Mag Make Dynamic TV Debut: Watch
Philadelphia is very clearly the hotbed for new, underground talent in the rock 'n' roll department. (This list will work as your ABC guide to the grey East Coast mini-metropolis.) One of the bands that has really been turning heads is Sheer Mag, a group that brings massive Thin Lizzy guitar riffs and marries it with a solid D.I.Y. punk rock ethos. It's totally weird and inventive, familiar and different, and we knew totally they were destined for greatness from first listen.
Apparently the world is finally catching on, too, because the band made their late night television debut last night on none other than Late Night with Seth Meyers. Watch their performance of the killer "Nobody's Baby" above.
